CHMI LAND, INC. (CLI)

Member of the CHMI Group of Companies. CHMI is engaged in socialized to medium-cost residential developments, investment banking specializing in Contract-to-Sell (CTS) Origination, pharmaceutical distribution and hotel develop ment.

CLI was incorporated in 2003 and undertook the development of Hacienda Hill, the group’s first 5-hectare development in its 25-hectare flagship project in Calamba, Laguna. Currently, CLI has four on-going projects - Bay Hill Executive, Palm Hill and Oak Hill in Calamba, Laguna and Kassel Pacific in Brgy. San Pedro, Malvar, Batangas.

Property Development

Corporate Holdings Management, Inc. was incorporated in November 1984. The company was established primarily as an investment banking company, with loan syndication as its major service line. In loan syndication, financing packages are arranged for projects, which have been studied and found viable by the Company. When it started in the 1980’s, commer cial rates were too high and the Company concentrated on specialized lending facilities for small and medium-scale projects. The Company packaged loans for manufacturing outfits like furniture, garment manufacturers, metal fabricators, container companies, drug manufacturers, agricultural and agri-based projects such as rice mills, poultry and livestock operations and agricultural crop production.

Mortgage Origination

CHMI is the only company offering CTS Origination Service in the country. A product of ingenuity and always being abreast with the current trends in the market, CTS Origination successfully fuses the need of Banks to increase its consumer-lending portfolio both at lesser risk and costs with the need of real estate developers to liquefy its receivables and augment funds availability.

CHMI started its CTS Origination services with Maybank Philippines, Inc. in the Year 2000. The company was also engaged by Chinatrust Phils. and Equitable PCIBank as originator for their CTS Financing programs. CHMI has originated a portfolio of more than PhP8.00Billion housing loans involving more than 16,000 accounts for its three banking principals.

Hotel Business

CHMI Hotels and Residences, Inc., is the latest member of the CHMI Group of Companies. The company will soon start construction of the first 5-star hotel in the Filinvest Corporate City known as the Acacia Grove. This 262-room is strategically located at the corners of Commerce Avenue, Filinvest Avenue and East Asia Drive. Commerce Avenue is being touted as the Ayala Avenue of the South while Filinvest Avenue is its Makati Avenue – thus giving Acacia Grove a location as strategic as that of The Peninsula Manila in Makati.

In addition, this location offers a huge and steady market for hotel rooms and food and beverage operations. Its proximity to the burgeoning economy of the CALABARZON region, the southern Luzon holiday and leisure destinations, world class golf and country clubs make it a perfect spot for a hotel. Alabang itself has transformed into a satellite city with large and posh residential communities, modern and state-of-the-art medical facilities, country clubs and educational institutions.

Pharmaceutical Distribution

CHMI Products started in 1986. It distributes its own brand of pharmaceutical products through medical representatives and franchised distributors. At present, it is distributing about 25 pharmaceutical product lines all over the Philippines.
